Take home a project each day that is either made from nature or made for nature! Leave the popsicle sticks at home though, because we are going to be working on real skills, some of which humans have used for thousands of years. Students will make quickie-bows for archery and necklaces of natural cordage and wild-harvested beads. They will also learn how to weave and make crowns, or advance to basket-making. Other projects could include net bags (great for carrying water bottles!), medicinal plant salves, habitats for animals, whistles, and wildharvested food recipes.
